I have been loving it here in Honduras. I am living half an hour in the mountains outside of Tegucigalpa. We don’t have beds, so I am sleeping in my tent, but I have it inside of a big room we all sleep in. We have three toilets and 2 showers (cold). WE ARE SO BLESSED HERE! Here at Tony’s house is my team and 3 others. We take turns cleaning the bathroom, the kitchen, and cooking lunch and dinners.

My ministry here has been very awesome. Monday is my teams off day. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings we teach english at school from 8am-11:30. Other than when we are teaching all of our ministry is done with Pastor Armando, a very cool and respected pastor here in Honduras. Tuesday afternoon we go to a rehabilitation center to preach, sing, share testimonies with the people there. Wednesday afternoon we go to the old folks home to spend time with the old people. Thursday afternoon we go to the Hospital to pray over people. Friday we are going to go to school to share testimonies and preach and sing. Saturdays are usually for soccer (this week we watched, but next week we will play) and church youth group at pastors church. Sundays we go to church and then we usually have free time afterward.

Our days have been very full, leaving for ministry at 8 in the morning and coming home at 6:30 in the evening. To get to our afternoon ministry we take public transportation. Two busses and a mile walking there, and a mile walking and two busses back. I think that adds to why I am so tired at the end of the day. I have a new appreciation for Rosa Parks because I now know what it feels like to work a really long day and have to stand up on the bus ride home! At the bus stop every day I pray that I will have a seat on the way home!

Overall I love it here in Honduras. I love my teammates and I love everyone we do ministry with daily!
