“4 Keys to discovering your calling”
“3 things to know about finding your calling”
“7 ways to find your calling”
“how to find your calling”
“your calling is closer than you think”
These are just a few of the hundreds of articles written on Relevant Magazine (and all over the internet) about finding your calling. It seems like everyone my age is trying to discover what they should be doing. I also wish at times God would just tell me “Hey Morgan, this is what I want you to do”.
The thing is, he did tell us what he wants us to do, and its not complicated like we think. Its not secretly written in Morse code and its not on a buzzfeed quiz.
God calls us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. (micah 6:8) God calls us to Love one another just as Christ loves us. (John 13:34)
I think we should care less about what our calling is, and focus instead on WHO is calling us. After all, “He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (1 Thess 5:24)
